These houses illustrate the best features of the vernacular revivalism representative of the early years of building in the village. Elaborate pargetting adorns the gables and fascia, with extensive timberwork barge boards, bressumer and brackets throughout.Nos 2 - 4 were reproduced at the Glasgow Exhibition of 1901.
